The series currently includes Rudiments of America's Christian History and Government and an advanced course, American History: Christian Self-Government with Union. That the Generation to Come Might Know Foremost in the minds and hearts of America's founding generation was a burning desire to secure liberty for themselves and their posterity. Their vision extended forward, from their generation to those who would succeed them. Consequently they thoughtfully considered the unique education necessary to support and maintain liberty in the newly founded Christian republic. So, for a time parents in America trained their young people at home and in local schools in the “Biblical principles by which they had lived for over one hundred and fifty years, i.e., God's principle of individuality, Christian self-government, property, and voluntary union.” And America flourished. (C&P, p. xxiv) Thankfully, God raised up individuals who would dedicate themselves to calling American Christians back to Biblical principles of education and government. Verna Hall's life was dedicated to turning the tide of socialism which she saw sweeping across America. She wrote, “The rebuilding of America’s Christian foundation and its superstructure of individual freedom, begins in the homes of American Christians, with the adults of this generation putting a stop to the ignorance of America’s Christian history.” (C&P, p. xxxv) Rudiments of America's Christian History and Government Course American History: Christian Self-Government with Union Course |
