Christ's two great commandments provided the basis for the Founding Fathers to reason concerning the delicate balance between individual independence with self-government and union based upon voluntary consent. The course presents the many challenges as American Christians consider the following:

• The spirit of American unity at home and abroad
• The development of a Christian union
• The sanctity of law
• The nation and the Law of Nature
• Providential steps toward union
• Cement of American union
• Key individuals int he history of liberty, i.e., John Wycliffe, Hugo Grotius, John Locke, Samuel Adams, John Dickinson, and Patrick Henry

This course is available to individuals who have completed the Rudiments of America's Christian History and Government Course.
