MR. JAMES B. ROSE (1938-2019) was a forerunner in the field of American Christian Education, with over 50 years of experience as a classroom teacher, Headmaster, Bible college professor and Chairman of the Department of Education, home-schooling principal and parent, licensed minister of the Gospel, conference speaker, author, and President of the American Christian History Institute from 1978-2019 (www.achipa.com). For many years he served as the Superintendent of the American Christian Academy Extension Campus of Anderson, California, (www.acaec.net),ministering to nearly 300 home-school families and about 600 students in 9 counties of Northern California. Mr. Rose was the author and compiler of the classic curriculum guide of the Principle Approach,A Guide to American Christian Education for the Home and School(1987). He served on the Pilgrim Institute Board of Directors from 1992-2019. He and his wife Barbara homeschooled their 4 children and shared in teaching some of their 30 grandchildren. Mr. Rose's legacy lives across our nation in the lives of the countless individuals who learned from him the Biblical principles of spiritual, religious, civil, political and economic liberty.
Mr. Rose often encouraged us to Keep on Keeping On. He dedicated his life to this passage of Scripture:
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. Isaiah 58:12
